Why We Removed "For the Family" Boxes This Season
Dozens of our customers have reported boxes arriving in poor condition, with broken and moldy Kishu. One customer shared that she only received 6 Kishu in her box (they should have 100+). Below is a picture.

We do not know what's changed at USPS this year, but the reality is that our perfectly packed boxes get heavily damaged during transit. This results in ruptured fruit, which then freezes and becomes moldy when it thaws.
Our goal is to deliver high quality Kishu as fresh as possible. Since are no longer able to guarantee that with existing USPS packaging, we have removed the "For the Family" until we find an acceptable solution.
In the meantime, we will continue to sell the California Large (for in-state) and the Good Fortune Gift box for out of state orders. The gift box has a hard exterior, which adds an additional layer of protection. For extremely cold locations we will also be adding some thermal bubble wrap.
We realize that this is not ideal, but it is the only way we can guarantee that your Kishu arrive in good condition. Thanks for understanding.
